The Vest of Good Fortune

The Vest of Good Fortune was created in 2021 from collected and donated amulets, talismans and power objects, all of which were sewn or pinned onto the vest by hand. The studs and rhinestones were affixed to the vest using two different types of Bedazzlers.

The House expects it will always be a work in progress as amulets and charms are added and subtracted. Special thanks to Bob A. and Bob R., whose contributions helped bring this creation into being.

The Vest of Good Fortune was inspired by an 'Apres Opera' vest designed by Peter Tully, which is part of the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences in Sydney, Australia.
